Community Information Centres

Iranian Railroad for Queer Refugees (IRQR) is an international, not-for-profit, queer human rights organization based in Toronto. IRQR provides support and counseling to Iranian queers worldwide.

Spectrum: Waterloo Region's Rainbow Community Space welcomes the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans*, Queer community, their families, friends and allies. They serve Waterloo Region, including Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, and area. Services include a friendly gathering place with drop-in hours and a DVD lending library, a variety of programming including for youth and seniors, a Rainbow community calendar, and an extensive directory of community groups, events, and resources in the area.

Positive Space Coalition (PSC) of Peel is a collaboration of community service providers and community members that strive to increase awareness of and access to LGBTTIQQ2S-positive services and supports in the region by maintaining a network of members.

Face it! is a non-profit initiative that aims to promote the recognition of ethnic/racial and gender/sexual diversity within and outside Latin American* communities in Ontario. It offers an interdisciplinary space for groups and individuals who have an interest in community work along the lines of queer, feminist, indigenous, environmentalist, marginalized and anti-oppression analysis and action. 

The LGBTQ+ Settlement Network is made up of service providers and community members in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) who work with LGBTQ+ newcomers. The Network's purposes include to support frontline workers, to coordinate outreach efforts to LGBTQ+ newcomers, to increase visibility and stimulate dialogue in the broader community, and to share referrals and best practices.
